Ideal Inspiration Blogger Award

Before I get into this tag, I want to thank One Book More for tagging me in this. I can’t tell you how much it made my day when I saw it. That being said, I also want to apologize for it taking so long for me to get my responses in. It’s been a very chaotic couple of weeks.

The Rules:

  • Thank the person who has nominated you and provide a link back to their blog
  • Answer their questions
  • Nominate other bloggers and ask them 5 new questions
  • Notify the nominees through their blog by visiting and commenting on their blog
  • List the rules and display the “Ideal Inspiration Blogger Award” logo
  • Provide the link of the Award creator of the Ideal Inspiration Blogger award as Rising Star.

The Questions:

If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would you choose?

This one is a tough one for me. I have so many characters that I would choose for this. I think I’d probably wind up choosing Kahlan from the Sword of Truth series in the end. She maintained her composure through the entire series. No matter how many people tried to break her down.

What has been your favorite read so far for 2022?

I’m going to pick for both nonfiction and fiction. For Nonfiction, my favorite has been Buses are a Comin’ by Charles Person. For fiction, my favorite has been The Arianne trilogy by Michelle Dare.

What book has been on your TBR the longest?

The Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead

Describe your current read in three words.

Oh. My. Goodness.

If you could only read three authors for the rest of your life, who would you choose?

Wow this one is TOUGH! You wound me! I’d have to say Michelle Dare, James Patterson, and Krys Fenner

My Questions:

  1. What is one secondary character you loved that you wish had their very own series?
  2. What is a series that has stuck with you after all this time?
  3. Would you rather live a week in your favorite series or have one of your favorite characters live in our world for one week?
  4. What is a series that you wish would never end?
  5. Tell us about your current read, but explain it badly.

I Nominate:

About the Award

“This award is to honor every creative person, irrespective of their number of followers and views. Because, as long as you create, that is all that matters. This award is for those bloggers who put an insane amount of thought in each of their posts and for those who spread creativity like wildfire! Just wow!” -Ashmita

Nature. No matter how chaotic things get in the world you will still find beautiful and peaceful places in nature. It’s awe inspiring. It’s also a wonderful way to renew energy. To cleanse out the negative energy so to speak.

What is your favorite form of creativity?

Writing. It helps put out stories into the world. Fictional and nonfictional alike. Without writers, we wouldn’t have the wonderful books we have in the world.

Questions From Nominator

Do you have a guilty pleasure show/book series?

I’d have to say either the House of Night series or the Pretty Little Liars series. I’m not really sure which one fits more here.

Do you watch the Olympics? If so, what’s your favorite sport to watch?

Normally, I do. It’s a family tradition. I didn’t this year. I just had a lot going on at the time. I did hear about it from my family. It’s a toss up between volleyball and swimming.

What’s your most anticipated release for the rest of the year?

The third book in the Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series by Holly Jackson

Do you have any mail subscription boxes? Doesn’t just have to be a book sub!

Once Upon a Book Club, OwlCrate, and FairyLoot.

I’m not going to tag anybody. Normally the people I pick for these don’t really have the time to do them. Which is fine. I’d also like to keep this open. If you read this and want to participate, please do. Please tag me so I can see your responses!

My Questions:

  1. Do you listen to audiobooks?
  2. Who are three authors you’d instantly buy books from without a second thought?
  3. Do you have an Instagram?
  4. Do you attend any conventions?

As far as creations go, I’m not really a majorly creative person. I’ve written some and edited some photos. I’ve also made some friendship bracelet bookmarks. Maybe one day.

The Reread Book Tag

This is the first book tag I’ve done in a very long time. Thank you Leslie from Books Are The New Black for tagging me! You have no idea how honored I feel that you thought of me.

From what I gather, this is a book tag about rereading books. I used to reread books all the time. I’m not as bad about rereading books as I was. I still have a few books that I will go back and reread once a year or once every few years. I also read some series from the beginning when there’s a new release on it. Depends on the series though.

Rules:

For this one, I ad to really put a lot of thought into it. I read a lot as a child. Nowhere near as much as I do now though. I also read more mature books for my age. There was this one book that always had previews in American Girl (I think) of this diary thing. The whole book was quirky and funny and looked like you were actually reading a diary. It even had great pictures! I can’t remember the name of it. So for the sake of being simple, I’ll choose Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

This one is hard for me to read. I’ll translate it here: A book you DNFed but would be wiling to give a second chance.

This one is difficult for me because I barely put a book down because I didn’t like it. Most o the books I set down are because I ran out of time and couldn’t finish them at that time. I always plan to read them again later. For this question, I would have to say The Darkest Legacy. I was so disappointed in it that I set it down. I may give it another chance.

This one is easy for me because I relate to it so so much! I will definitely reread it. Probably VERY soon!

Another easy one. Very easy.

I’m going to be honest, I didn’t read a lot of classics in school that I liked. I might read them again as an adult with a different way of thinking. But one definitely sticks out in my mind for this one.

Just one? I’m cheating here. Richelle Mead, Meg Cabot, P.C. Cast, Kristin Cast, Charlie N Holmberg, and James Patterson. That’s just off the top of my head.

I don’t know if I’m going to shock anybody with this but:

Dark Materials Trilogy. Hands Down. Would probably even reread it with every new season of the show!

I’m majorly on the fence about this one. And normally it’s the opposite for me. It’s books I listened to but want to actually read. However, one comes to mind. The House of Night series. I already have the image for another question.

This has been really fun! I used to really love doing tags! Maybe I will get tagged in more!

If you read this blog, I tag you to complete this tag. It’s really fun to do!

FIVE STAR BOOK

I’ve loved this series since the very first sentence. It’s witty and fun. It’s angsty. All the characters are sassy and have such character. I can never get enough of it. I’ve read most of the series at least twice. I will willingly read them again as well.

ALWAYS GOING TO RECOMMEND

This book is about a society that believes that love is a disease. I was floored by the unique feel behind this trilogy. I have major plans to read them again.

OWN IT BUT HAVEN’T READ IT YET

I bought the series last year sometime. I started to read it, but I never got around to finishing it. Not because I don’t like it. I just had to set it down. I’ve been wanting to read it so badly!

WOULD READ AGAIN

I can’t get over how fun this book is! The main character is just so sassy. Want to back talk her? You’re going to have to put up with the reaction you get. Want to mess with her? You’re gonna get it back. This book was amazing! Very unique too!

IN ANOTHER WORLD

There were so many that I could talk about with this one. Game Of Thrones is where I’ll go though. I’m still afraid to watch the television show! The books were pretty decent. If not super long and packed with activity!

BACK ON EARTH

My knee jerk reaction was to choose House Of Night. It takes place in Oklahoma. I’ve already used it for another question though. So the next perfect option is Vampire Academy. Which takes place in Montana! Another sassy main character. I think it’s obvious how I like my women. Just saying. HAHA

The Summer Bucket List Book Tag

I wasn’t exactly tagged in this post. I saw a post on nen & jen. After the five, they said “You”. That’s good enough for me! You can find thier beautiful blog on the tag here.

The Rules
  • Link back to the original creator in your post.
  • Feel free to use any of Tiffany’s graphics in your post, or create your own!
  • Tag 5 other people at the end of your post, and let them know you’ve tagged them.

Can’t say this was one of my favorite books of all times, but it was interesting to say the least. Without giving too much away, I strongly encourage people to read about it. For more information, click here.

This whole series has shaken me to the core. It’s insane and mind blowing. I fully recommend keeping the next book on hand so you can grab it immediately when finishing the current one. To experience the best of two worlds, click here.

This series was amazing. And the journey the trio goes on in this book is one of the best book journies ever. And there are QUITE a few out there! Visit the world of Harry Potter here!

This book had me hooked from the very beginning. The whole series has me in it’s trap. If you haven’t read this series, I strongly recommend you give it a chance. The story is just as beautiful as the cover! Live the life of a Reaper here!

I read this entire book in one sitting. I was tempting to take it and re-reading it. I can’t wait to devour the rest of the series. If they are as fast-paced and unique as this one, I’m going to be hooked! Travel back in time here!

This was a beautiful story. The whole trilogy was amazing. I didn’t want it to end. This author doesn’t get the recognition she deserves. This trilogy doesn’t either! Fall in love with a new trilogy by clicking here.

This book is where this series started picking back up for me. I almost set the series down because I felt the author was getting bored with the series. That changed with this one. That’s why I consider it a breath of fresh air. For more Stephanie shenanigans click here.

There’s only so much I can say about this book without giving too much away. But if there’s a character who fits this more, it’s her. She decided to do something that everybody told her was impossible. She risked everything for what she believed in to conquer this challenge. And she made it awesome! Read and see!!! Continue following the Reaper’s life here!

If I tell you that this book would be a happy read, I would be lying. It is very sad. Don’t get me wrong. There are happy moments, but the author definitely makes you work for them. The book is sprinkled with all kinds of Greek recipes. It’s beautiful! To learn to love again and grow with this family, press here.

I know this is going to be insane. But it’s true. This book and the author inspired me. It Gets Worse was inspiring too. Shane Dawson struggled with some of the same things I did in life. And it’s nice to know that I’m not alone and there will always be a positive. I especially love that he can find humor in anything. Especially the most horrible moments of his life. Get inside Shane’s life in small doses here.

Hope you’ve enjoyed this tag! If you’ve read any of these, let me know. The five people I choose are:

YOU!!!!
